Magic Mushrooms and Chocolate Have Been a Natural Combination for Many Years

Magic Mushrooms and chocolate are a classic combination. Chocolate provides a bold rich flavour, said to resemble being in love, and the mushrooms provide the magic.

For all three of these recipes, you should remember that this is more about consuming a proper dose of mushrooms than consuming chocolate, so keep in mind that when making mushroom chocolate, you should use one normal raw dose of magic mushrooms per portion to be consumed. If you are sharing with a friend, then you can use two doses distributed evenly. In that case, half of the chocolate bar would equal one dose.

Aztecs, Cacao, and Magic Mushrooms

One culture we feel compelled to pay umbrage to, especially after describing chocolate recipes, is the Aztecs. Cacao, the main ingredient in chocolate, was referred to as “food of the gods.” It has its own “elevating” properties, but when mixed with mushrooms, it is divine. They did mix cacao and psychedelic mushrooms, so they were the originators of the basics of the recipes above.

Chocolate makes us feel good… it is said that it creates a feeling similar to being in love. The chocolate we buy and eat from the grocery store may taste good, but most of the elevating compounds and properties have been processed out. We suggest that you try to acquire some raw whole cacao beans (with their skin still on) to get that total cacao bean experience. You can find them this way in many ecological stores.
